ST-ART will celebrate its 26th anniversary from November 25 to 27, 2022, in Strasbourg, city of culture, gastronomy and architecture.
The fair will welcome the public and exhibitors in the new exhibition center of Strasbourg designed and constructed by the architecture agency Kengo Kuma.
For its first participation in ST-ART, the gallery arnaud Lebecq honors six Thai artists and one Indonesian artist, artists of renown in their country and internationally as well as young emerging artists.
They are gathered around different movements such as abstraction, expressionism and figurative on mediums as varied as video performance, drawing, painting, mix-media and textile. In line with its DNA as a promoter of these scenes, the arnaud Lebecq gallery offers a selection of works that stand out for their diversity, originality and their consideration of questions about our contemporary societies.
The gallery invites the public to discover especially, Kitikong Tilokwattanotai, an abstract artist in constant growth in his country as well as internationally, and his work on the memorization and capture of his emotions, using a pictorial technique based on successive brushstrokes that he then coats with a glaze of lacquer, Imhathai Suwatthanasilp, an emblematic artist recognized in the medium of drawing and her creations drawing their inspiration from nature that she magnifies and Kawita Vatanajyankur, a committed performer, with her series “Tools”, a project developed around the condition of women in domestic life, particularly during recent lockdown periods.
The public of Strasbourg is thereby invited to an initiatic journey to discover new artistic fields.
